When a home gardener who studied Classical languages turns into a stay-at-home-mom, “agricola” is born.

Hello! My name is Rachel and welcome to my corner of the internet world called “agricola”. I chose this name because it not only encompasses both my love of Latin and my love for growing things out of the soil, but also a desire to dig deep roots where I am planted, spread seeds of joy as I travel, and nurture the dreams God has placed in my heart.

One of my dearest dreams is to be a flower farmer so I am starting where I am with a home garden and lots of trial and error. We will see what grows from there! As I learn and discover, I will be sharing it to the blog along with all of these other interests I have: travel, reading, homemaking, and, of course, Latin.
